Power of Thoughts

It takes fractions of a second for something to be perceived, but within that small period, all of reality has the potential to be altered and changed.  When we see some image with our eyes, the stimuli passes through to the brain, where there are so many different steps, that it can be changed.  And because we only view reality through our own unique biases, we will never be able to see things as they truly are.

As I sit here and write this, I wonder to myself if there is absolute reality, one absolute truth, or are there so many different realms of different realities (one for each person alive at any given moment in time).  To be logical, it would seem like the world is one way, and then we all paint different renderings of it.  But what if it exists in a different way, in that maybe nothing truly exists but we all project our various views of it so that it exists that way.  Maybe nothing is truly real.  Maybe the collective functioning of so many brains makes it reality.  Or maybe there is some spiritual being that is true reality.

Taking ideas from Eastern religions, we are all part of the same-ness, we are connected together, made of the same things- which as science is starting to learn is nothing but an idea or thought.  This is all just fascinating, that we are just merely ideas.  And if we are all just ideas, then all we have to do is change our thoughts, and then we'll end up changing reality.  This all fits together so nicely.  And as you look through history over the ages, you see that changes in thought is what propels humanity into the future.

But what makes me so sad is that in a few decades, this truth that I'm writing down now won't be truth.  It will have adapted to the changing of time and taken on a completely different reality.  Just as the way the mind-body split idea took off, at least my hope is that this current view of thoughts will change the world to make it a better place.  Already, I am trying to use my thoughts to only express good things into the world.

But I still have 2 huge demons to overcome, as well as a few minor ones.  But my goal with my thoughts is to try and put the least amount of negative energy into the world by being the best person I can possibly be, by thinking the best thoughts I possibly can. Of course, I have so much work to do and I need to devote more energy to it.

The power of thoughts can connect you to anyone, anywhere.  They can be transformative and moving.  If harnessed correctly, my thoughts can improve the world.  Anyone's thoughts can improve the world.  Deplete the world of negative thought and there goes all war, famine, and sadness that makes up the world today.

Let's take the example of the News.  They are constantly telling stories of only sadness, anger, violence, and the world's most horrifying negativity.  So many people watch the News and take in contact with the world's negative energy.  It spreads like a disease.  And these are the stories that get viewers, which means money.  But what if we replaced every single negative story with a positive one, spreading hope and joy to all those people, because people would spread that joy and happiness instead of the violence.  They would also start truly believing that the world was a good place, and not a bad one.  That right there changes the world.

I wish that everyone would be so peaceful and spread goodness to other people.  I'm starting my own self-improvement, because it's the only form of control I currently have.  But I'm hoping that I can touch the lives of people around me and they can spread the message on to the people they know and then it can grow from there.  This is all I really want out of life.  I just want people to know that they have control over their own happiness and success in life.  There really is no waiting around for fate to step in.  It's all in our own hands.  It's all that you have.  Breaking out of old mind sets allows you to change reality- because you are changing the thoughts that make up that reality.

Visualization

By not thinking, we are letting the body take over and win the way it has been programmed to.  If we do the visualization and conscious practice with proper feedback, then we will do those responses automatically. That is how we become the better person, that is how we evolve.

When not thinking, we just do- we don't question who we have become, we are just that new person.  The thinking mind is the one that stops and questions great actions that the body is fully capable of doing on its own.  It interferes with a lot of progress, constantly worrying and questioning.  This can create worry and anxiety within the body itself that is not healthy.  It keeps the body from running the way it should.

The body has to spend all its time performing repair or actions from long term stress that the mind has created.  It can't age properly, heal, or run up to top peak condition when it has to combat what the mind keeps sending out to it.  This is the massive problem that stress causes.  Acute stress gets the body going and the conscious mind to shut off.  It is the stress that makes the body do what it does best.  The mind gets in the way- that thinking mind interrupts the natural flow of progress that the body can do by itself.  By shutting down and quieting the thinking brain, this is where all the greatness comes from.  From the inborn knowledge that the body was born with and has picked up along the way.

Where the thinking mind needs to come in is in terms of helping the body.  By replacing those negative, worrying, or impulsive thoughts with more constructive ones- about who we want to become- the body will then be able to work along side the good.  Constantly thinking happy, helpful thoughts is going to make the body that much stronger and better off.  Visualizing, repeating key phrases, practicing the behavior with positive reinforcement- this is where true greatness begins.  All the negative thoughts and behaviors must stop and be stopped.  They can't continue living within the body, where they just accumulate and set the body backwards.  We are all destined to be great.  This is the way we have been programmed.

The Past and Karma

The past really does not matter at all.  In fact that is what you are trying to avoid- you don't want your life to look anything like that anymore!  You want to lay the past to sleep, all the painful memories and frames of mind.  They won't do anything anymore than hurt you.  You want to focus on the future by changing who you are in the present moment.  You want to be so aware of how and what you are thinking.  No worries, but only current events.

If an event or worry about the future pops into your head, address it in whatever manner, but then let it go as quickly as you can so you can focus on whatever you are doing now.  This is all you have.  You don't have the future.  You aren't even promised waking up the next day.  That's all out of your control. But your thoughts right now, the images dancing in your mind's eye, that is your reality.

Your brain doesn't know the difference from a thought and from actual reality- so whatever you are occupied with in the present moment is the most real thing in the world.  If you are ruminating on the past, then the past is being brought back to life- and that's what we want to avoid.  It's too painful or it's not helping at all with the change.  It needs to be stopped.  Go with the helpful thoughts, the ones that are going to be the most beneficial for inspiring change and becoming the best person you can possibly be.

The person that is going to change the energy of the universe by not being negative and sending out negative vibes, but a person who is going to fill the world with positive energy.  This is where all the magic happens, where seemingly strange things start to happen.  But it is just the energy working and flowing to the other like-minded energy.

Say out loud what you want and mean it with all of your heart.  It will come to be.  It may take some time for the universe to work itself out, but you'll get what you want.  Karma does exist.  It is the energy that everyone sends out- you send out negative energy, negative energy will return back to you. Do something to better the universe, it will turn it back around and better you as well.

It's your Moose. Happy Hunting

So I'm watching Pillow Talk with Doris Day, becoming ever more charming by the minute.  I want to be her- all of her grace, charm, and poise.  She walks into a room more beautiful than imaginable.

Today was the best day of my life.  I woke up knowing that today would be the best day of my life.  I love this job.  I am this job.  This job was custom made for me.  Every second of it, I'm soaking it up, breathing it in.  I have not spent a day smiling this much in I can't remember.  When I wrote out my ideal job, this is what it entailed.  I sent my wish list out into the universe and it gave me this job.  I am clinging to it for dear life, holding it more precious than anything I have ever encountered.  To change lives!  It's what I was born to do.  It is what I was made to do.  I want to inspire people to change their thoughts so that they are not only healthier, but that the people they encounter will also be infected with their grace and beauty.  I've been writing a few entries that I am going to add in to here, and then I'll take my writings and ideas from there.  This is my passion, this is all I want out of life.  A job that is more than just a job.  Not only will it pay my bills, but it will be my calling.  Finally I have people to talk to about my ideas and thoughts.  Finally!  I'm in love.  This means more to me than anything.
